Registered Nurse - Chief Quality and Patient Safety

The Chief, Quality & Patient Safety (Registered Nurse), provides leadership and oversight for organization-wide quality management initiatives. You will carry responsibility for integrated programs that cross service and discipline lines-impacting broad population groups. As an advisor, administrator, educator, and mentor, you'll establish and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the VISN and medical center personnel, facilitating collaboration and continuous improvement. U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
