Job Description Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to join our team in Stafford. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the manufacturing process for our HVDC Power Transformer products. You will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by leading quality inspection activities, validating quality processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and customer requirements. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams, you will help deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality products that support the global energy transition. @@HD@@ Job Description@@/HD@@ @@HD@@ What You'll Be Doing@@/HD@@

• Following all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)

procedures and safe working practices • Providing

technical support and guidance

to the

Quality Inspection team

• Conducting

operator and quality inspector competency validations

to ensure compliance with quality standards • Ensuring

quality control requirements

are clearly defined and implemented throughout

design, incoming goods inspection, and manufacturing processes

• Managing

measurement equipment calibration

and ensuring inspection equipment remains compliant • Performing

workstation spot checks

, supporting workshop assessments, and carrying out

compliance audits

• Leading

quality governance activities

, including

QR1 and QR2 meetings

• Driving

continuous improvement initiatives

to strengthen quality processes, improve product compliance, and reduce defects • Supporting the development and maintenance of

Manufacturing Control Plans

and inspection documentation • Managing

quality records

and ensuring accurate administration and document control • Reviewing and consolidating

End of Manufacturing Reports

for Engineering and Manufacturing • Working collaboratively with

cross-functional teams

• Previous experience in a Quality Control

or

Quality Engineering

role within a manufacturing environment • Strong knowledge of

quality control techniques

inspection processes

activities • Strong

communication

and

stakeholder management

skills • Ability to

analyse problems
