ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC - TITLE 32

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC - TITLE 32, Position Description Number PDD2325000 and is part of the KY 123 AW, National Guard. Military Grades: A1C/E3 - TSgt/E5 Military Requirement: FOR THE WG-12: Completion of an Air Force Three or Five Skill Level Technical Training School and awarded one of the following compatible Three or Five Skill Level AFSC: 2A031, 2A051, 2A231, 2A251, 2A335, 2A354, 2A934, 2A954 FOR THE WG-13: Completion of an Air Force Seven Skill Level Technical Training School and awarded one of the following compatible Seven Skill Level AFSC: 2A974 RANK REQUIREMENT: Member must provide in writing with their application package that they are willing to accept a reduction in rank in order to be qualified for this position, if applicable. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: You must maintain membership in the Kentucky National Guard. You must be assigned to a compatible military position. Wear of the military uniform. May be subject to furlough actions. May be required to successfully complete a trial period. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Must obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication of a T3 or equivalent investigation. Acceptance of a Federal position may terminate a military bonus. Acceptance of a Federal position will terminate Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. Must have the capability to lift, carry, push, or otherwise handle items weighing up to 70 pounds. Must have the physical capability to stand, climb, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and stoop over extended periods of time. Must possess a valid state driver's license to operate government motor vehicles in accordance with Air Force and Air National Guard Vehicle Operations Directives. Must complete the hazmat certification within six months of employment and complete hazmat recertification every two years. This position is developmental: Incumbent may be non-competitively promoted to the next higher grade upon completion of an Individual Development Plan (IDP), award of the compatible 7-skill level AFSC, meeting time in grade requirements, and recommendation for promotion by supervisor.
