DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented
Quality Auditor Blockline CMM
to join our team specialising in
Quality
for our Daventry Plant in Daventry, United Kingdom.
This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week across the 3-shift pattern:
• Mon - Fri: 7am - 3pm
• Mon - Fri: 3pm - 11pm
• Sun - Thurs: 11pm - 7am
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Ensure Precision: By using advanced measuring techniques like FARO Arm & CMM, you'll ensure components meet exact specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Your measurements will confirm compliance or identify non-compliance, maintaining high standards.
• Cross-Functional Support: Providing measurement support to various areas, including the Blockline, enhancing overall production quality.
• Audit Participation: Supporting internal and external supplier quality audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Problem Resolution: By inspecting non-conforming parts, you'll help address and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Cleanliness Audits: Conducting engine block cleanliness audits ensures components are ready for assembly and customer supply.
• Data Collection: Collecting and reporting quality audit data will provide valuable insights for continuous improvement.
• Process Validation: Supporting new CMM program validation ensures accurate and reliable measurement processes.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
• Good standard of Secondary Education (essential).
• Engineering and Metrology qualifications (desirable).
• Knowledge of GD&T, technical drawings, and inspection standards.
• 1st principle measurement techniques.
• Computer literacy.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, and quality, including using measuring equipment (e.g., CMM, Faro Arm, Micrometers, height gauges).
• Programming measuring equipment (desirable).
