About the role

We are looking for a talented Logistics Specialist - Senior to join our team, specialising in transportation optimisation, logistics analytics, and supply chain improvement within our Global Logistics organisation in Daventry, UK, based at the UK Logistics Centre. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: • Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to develop transportation and logistics solutions that support new products, volume growth, network expansion, new sourcing strategies, and changing business requirements. • Identify and implement opportunities to improve logistics performance, reducing costs, enhancing service levels, shortening transit times, and simplifying administrative processes. • Develop and maintain logistics analytics that provide visibility of operational performance, trends, and opportunities across the transportation network. • Analyse key performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities, develop action plans, and support data-driven decision-making. • Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma and supply chain optimisation projects that drive measurable business results. • Develop reporting capabilities that improve supply chain visibility, support operational excellence, and enable effective performance management. • Conduct benchmarking and scenario analysis to evaluate transportation strategies, identify best practices, and support network optimisation initiatives. • Drive the adoption of standardised transportation processes and share best practices across regions to improve consistency, efficiency, and service delivery. To be successful in this role, you will need the following: • Strong experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, with a proven ability to identify and implement process improvements. • Analytical skills with experience interpreting complex data, developing meaningful insights, and supporting business decisions through reporting and performance analysis. • Experience working across cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build effective working relationships across the organisation. Education/Experience: • College, university, or equivalent degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field is preferred. • Significant experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related operational discipline. • Experience using reporting, analytics, and business systems to monitor performance and support operational decision-making. • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, transportation network optimisation, and supply chain best practices is advantageous.
