Job Summary
Lead supply chain operations across key functions including materials, production, inventory, logistics, demand management, and order fulfillment. Drive end-to-end supply chain performance by ensuring customer requirements are met, optimizing processes, and leading continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways
• Lead daily supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, reliability, and alignment with customer expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the Cummins Operating System and Functional Excellence strategies.
• Lead cross-functional planning processes and collaborate with Business Units to ensure supply chain alignment.
• Identify and mitigate supply constraints through collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and improve supply chain processes, procedures, and performance standards through strong business partnerships.
• Analyze operational trends, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective action plans to achieve performance targets.
• Monitor and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve supply chain visibility and decision-making.
• Proactively address supply chain disruptions and escalate critical issues to ensure operational stability.
• Support annual operating plans, including resource planning, expense management, and capital investments.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members by establishing goals, supporting career growth, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need
• More than 7 years' experience as a Suply Chain Manager in the Automotive sector (Heavy Duty)
• Strong Experience in Engineering Material Flow and Packaging
• Experience with Blue Yonder Supply Chain Management and Omnichannel Commerce solutions.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain optimization processes.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence teams across finance, sales, manufacturing, and operations.
• Experience using data analytics and performance metrics to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective decisions during supply chain disruptions.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational execution and long-term improvement initiatives.
• Advanced English Level
• Availability to travel national and internationally 25% of the time.
