Staff/Sr. iOS Engineer - AI, Search & Knowledge Platforms

This position requires a proactive engineer with strong technical skills to handle challenges. @@HD@@ Responsibilities:@@/HD@@ Prototyping new ideas to help with initial feature definition Implementing Swift frameworks that adhere to defined API contracts Collaborating with our product cross-functional teams Participating in architecture and code reviews @@HD@@ Building internal engineering tools as necessary Preferred Qualifications@@/HD@@ Experience with Networking stack, CDNs is a plus @@HD@@ Experience with telemetry, defining and measuring SLAs is a plus Minimum Qualifications@@/HD@@ 7+ years of experience with Swift programming, ObjC is a plus Expertise in working with Concurrency primitives Experience with Performance Profiling, Memory and Optimization techniques Understanding of client/server architectures Proficiency with SDK APIs, Apple Developer Tools (Xcode, Instruments) Comfort with large codebases and practical solutions Knowledge of software patterns that allow for testing Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work independently as well as in a team @@HD@@ BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Pay & Benefits@@/HD@@ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,700 and $324,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
