About the role

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Quality Laboratory Worker to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of technical tasks within our manufacturing quality laboratory, contributing to the overall quality assurance and control processes for our products. Job Responsibilities Conduct routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established procedures and specifications. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and accuracy of results. Document test results accurately and meticulously, maintaining detailed records and logs. Assist in the investigation of quality deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints, providing data and support for root cause analysis. Perform basic data analysis and generate reports summarizing quality control findings. Contribute to the development and improvement of laboratory procedures and work instructions. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, quality standards (e.g., ISO), and internal company policies. Collaborate effectively with production, engineering, and other quality teams. Job Qualifications Associate's degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Materials Science, Engineering Technology) or equivalent practical experience. 2-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing quality control or assurance laboratory environment, preferably within a relevant industry. Proficiency in operating common laboratory equipment (e.g., spectrophotometers, microscopes, tensile testers, analytical balances). Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and record-keeping. Ability to follow complex procedures and instructions precisely. Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is a plus.
