Health System Specialist

The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) is a complexity level 1b facility assigned to Veterans Integrated Service Network 16 (VISN 16). SLVHCS provides quality, patient centered health care to more than 65,000 enrolled Veterans throughout 23 parishes in southeast Louisiana. SLVHCS operates seven CBOCs in Baton Rouge, Bogalusa, Franklin, Hammond, Houma, Slidell and St. John Parish, as well as the new 200-bed tertiary care Veterans medical center in New Orleans. The Selectee may be required to work evening or weekend hours, as needed, as well as to be willing to travel for scheduled meetings at offsite clinics, within the network, and to other locales.
