Financial Specialist

These positions are available throughout various USMS Districts in the Continental US (CONUS). The selectee of this position serves as a Financial Specialist. You will be responsible for analyzing existing District procedures to identify more efficient and effective methods for accomplishing program objectives and recommending changes/improvements to District management. Duty location will be determined at the time of selection. Pay will be determined based on duty location. Must complete an initial online questionnaire and additional assessment(s). This is a bargaining unit position. Must pass a pre-employment security investigation and drug screening. May be required to successfully complete a trial/probationary period. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service. Verify Registration here. Must be a U.S. Citizen or National. You must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. (i.e. each cutoff date) Status candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level). Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Investigation.
