AIRCRAFT MECHANIC

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for an AIRCRAFT MECHANIC, Position Description Number PDD1366000 and is part of the WY 153rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Wyoming Air National Guard. This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required. KEY REQUIREMENTS: Open to current or prior service active duty, reserve or national guard members of one of the branches of the US Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, or Coast Guard. Military members: Submit vMPF Rip, DVR, CDB, STP, ERS, MBS, or PDR with resume. Prior service members: Submit a DD Form 214. Must become a military member of the Wyoming Air Nat'l Guard before appt. Recruitment/Relocation Incentives ARE NOT authorized. PCS is not authorized in lieu of incentives. If selected, you will be required to relocate at your own expense. May be required to successfully complete a two-year trial period. Veteran's preference does not apply to National Guard Technician positions in accordance with Title 32 USC 709(f). EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS: Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT). Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses. Acceptance of a Technician position will terminate these military incentives. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. 2. Covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. 3. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission. 4. Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day. 5.
