About the role

We are seeking a high-performing, technically savvy

Segment Solution Sales Specialist

to drive growth within our Power Systems division. In this role, you will be the bridge between our complex technical capabilities and our strategic market segments (e.g., Utilities, Data Centers, Heavy Industry, or Renewables and so on). You won't just be just selling products; you will be diagnosing client challenges and engineering high-value, integrated solutions. This role will be part of the

Schneider Early Career Program (SECP)

, a one-year program designed for high-potential professionals with 3-5 years of experience. Participants will accelerate their growth via structured development, stretch assignments, and mentorship from leaders across the organization.

What will you do?

Segment Strategy & Growth

Support segment leaders in define, develop, and execute targeted sales strategies for assigned market segments to meet and exceed revenue targets. •

Consultative Solution Selling

Act as a trusted advisor to clients. Identify complex pain points in their power infrastructure and pitch integrated, end-to-end power system solutions. •

Technical Value Proposition

Translate complex electrical engineering specifications (e.g., protection and control, power quality, grid automation) into clear financial and operational benefits for C-suite and technical stakeholders. •

Pipeline & Account Management

Manage the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation and qualification to technical bidding, negotiation, and closing. •

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Tendering, Application Engineering, and Project Management teams to ensure technical proposals are accurate, compliant, and commercially viable. •

Market Intelligence

Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes (e.g., grid codes, decarbonization targets), and competitor moves to position our solutions effectively.

Education & Experience

Degree

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field. Other business qualification is a strong plus. •

Experience

3-5 years of successful technical sales or business development experience within the electrical engineering or power sector. •

Proven Track Record

Demonstrated success in supporting closing of large-scale, complex project sales (typically involving switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, SCADA, or EMS).

Technical Competencies

• Deep understanding of

medium-voltage (MV) and high-voltage (HV)

power distribution, grid automation, and power quality. • Familiarity with modern power trends, such as renewable energy integration, microgrids, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), and digital electrical solutions (IoT/Software) . • Ability to read, interpret, and discuss single-line diagrams (SLDs) and engineering specifications confidently.

Soft Skills

Negotiation & Influence

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to navigate complex procurement processes and negotiate high-value contracts. •

Communication

Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to pitch to both field engineers and corporate executives. •

Mobility

Willingness to travel to client sites, factories, and industry events as required.
