Join EPAM as a Cloud Operations Engineer. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the Kafka platform, ensuring optimal performance and security. If you have 5+ years of experience in the implementation and maintenance of Confluent Platform and strong experience in automating processes and maintaining automated scripts, we'd love to hear from you. No matter where you are located, you will join a dedicated, creative, and diverse community that will help you discover your fullest potential. @@HD@@ Responsibilities@@/HD@@ • Install and provision new Kafka clusters and supporting components • Regularly monitor the health and performance of the Kafka platform and data pipelines • Identify and fix issues related to the platform, including data pipelines, network problems, cloud or containerization resources failures, or software bugs • Perform regular performance tuning of Kafka platform components • Monitor and optimize the cost and performance of Kafka clusters

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the implementation and maintenance of Confluent Platform • Strong experience in automating processes and maintaining automated scripts • Advanced knowledge of Kafka Confluent Stack, HELM Kubernetes/Containers, Docker, and Python/Shell scripting and automation experience • Intermediate knowledge (3 years) of Cloud GCP, Cloud AWS (compute, networking, storage, IAM), Jenkins (pipelines, groovy), Linux administration, PagerDuty, and Uptrends
