Global Operation Excellence, Assistant Manager

located in

Prai, Penang.

@@HD@@ What a typical day looks like:@@/HD@@ • Support global deployment of global systems across sites until go-live, assisting in project management, execution, site coordination, timely escalation, and providing post-go-live support. • Support development activities for global system features through business requirement document (BRD) preparation, feature testing, test case creation, and close collaboration with IT teams as and when required to for feature enhancement • Implement these policies in the sites, ensuring compliance. • Work among Operations SME's and others to prepare training material for better understanding of these KOIs and their implementation procedures in multiple languages. • Define roles and responsibilities of operations people at site, global and regional levels from the point of view of KOIs. • Support and drive policies and guidelines to set targets for KOIs per site, global, regional levels. • Formulate standards reports, and presentations to management as required. • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the operations and IT teams to ensure that operational requirements are accurately translated into IT development

The experience we're looking to add to the team

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training plus a minimum of 8 years of in operations with operations management experience. • Experience in global/regional roles preferred, including global deployment/implementations. • Ability to think strategically, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. • Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables • A lean and/or Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred. • Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
