Lead System Administrator

Actively monitor daily backup jobs, investigate and resolve failures, and ensure the successful completion of all scheduled backups within established windows. •

Perform routine and critical data restorations, lead disaster recovery (DR) testing, and support overall business continuity requirements. •

Administer backup storage pools, define and manage retention policies, and optimize data replication, deduplication, and archival workflows. •

Implement and maintain robust ransomware protection controls and immutable backup configurations to safeguard corporate data. •

Partner with infrastructure, database, cloud, and application teams to align backup strategies and ensure strict compliance with corporate data recovery standards. •

Assist in designing and executing data migration strategies shifting legacy, on-premises infrastructure to public/private cloud environments. Strong hands-on experience with

implementation, configuration, and management. •

Deep proficiency with

environments. •

Solid understanding of public and private cloud management, specifically around cloud-native backup solutions and on-premise-to-cloud migration paths.

Specialized expertise in

and/or

ecosystems. •

Experience automating infrastructure tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaaS/IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or scripting languages). •

Familiarity with

processes to secure backup endpoints and infrastructure. •

Practical knowledge of

and federation services (ADFS) for identity and access management.
