Supervisory Veterans Service Representative (VSR)

The incumbent of this position supervises staff who adjudicate and authorize Veterans' compensation and pension claims at the Oakland, California Veterans Administration Regional Office. The primary purpose of the work is to perform the duties of the Coach position in the absence of the Coach and shares those responsibilities daily. This includes ensuring the continuity of team supervision. This position is the assistant supervisor of one of the teams located within the Veterans Service Center. As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you may be required to serve a 1-year probationary period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
