About the role

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our high performing team in Wetherill Park, NSW. In this role, you will overhaul, repair and service a variety of mid-range and high horse-power rail engines in a service workshop under supervision

You will make an impact in the following ways

• Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products • Diagnose and repair engines • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning • Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation • Assist with completion required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor

Additional Information

• Full Time / 38 hours per week • Day Shift (06:30 - 14:36) • Saturdays available • Overtime as required - Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours • All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered • Domestic Relocation from across Australia may be offered for the right candidate • Local Valid Drivers License

To be successful in this role you will need the following

• Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Cert III) or equivalent • Basic level of workshop or field service experience required • Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products • Heavy Vehicle Experience preferred • Diagnostic and troubleshooting experience preferred • HR License preferred • Must be certified to work in NSW
