About the role
The executive assistant provides confidential support to the executive director. In addition, the executive assistant plays an integral part in preparing for and executing Commission meetings; maintaining organizational files and records documenting meetings, publications, and official correspondence; and providing other administrative support as needed.
Individuals must be U.S. citizens; Employees must undergo the completion of a satisfactory background investigation; and Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must certify that they have registered with the Selective Service System, or are exempt from having to do so under the Selective Service Law as described in 5 USC § 3328. MACPAC employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 subject to applicable exceptions as required by law. If selected for employment at MACPAC, you will be required to submit documentation of proof of vaccination before appointment or onboarding with MACPAC. MACPAC will provide additional information regarding what information or documentation regarding proof of your vaccination will be needed, as well as how you can request an exemption from this requirement due to a medical condition or a sincerely held religious belief, if applicable. If an individual fails to meet this requirement, MACPAC may take action up to and including rescinding the employment offer or termination. All MACPAC employees earning more than $151,661 in calendar year 2026 must follow financial disclosure requirements under the STOCK Act.
