About the role
Information Technology Division - Kansas City, MO The selectee of this position serves as an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (Sys Admin). You will be responsible for directing and managing USMS technology projects. This includes the planning, designing, developing, securing, documenting, developing, modifying, testing, implementation, and support of new or existing applications, services, or equipment.
Must complete an initial online questionnaire and additional assessment(s). Must pass a pre-employment security investigation and drug screening. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. This position is a Testing Designated Position and is subject to random drug testing. May be required to successfully complete a trial/probationary period. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. Must be a U.S. Citizen or National. Physical Demands - The work is primarily sedentary with some slight physical effort, such as walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; or lifting of moderately heavy items, such as computer, printer, desk top scanner may be required. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. Work Environment - The work is typically performed in an office setting. The work area is adequately lit, heated, cooled, and ventilated. The work requires frequent travel, up to 33 percent of the time, to visit project sites and conduct customer services.
