ARCHITECT/ENGINEER (ACCELERATED HIRE)

This ARCHITECT/ENGINEER (ACCELERATED HIRE) is located in the Civil Engineering Squadron at an Air National Guard Wing and is part of the California Air Force National Guard. This position is an interdisciplinary position. The title of Architect, General Engineer, Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer and occupational series is assigned depending on the qualifications of the incumbent selected to fill the position. Recruitment/Relocation Recruitment/Relocation Incentive MAY BE authorized, subject to funding and approval. PCS Relocation Costs MAY BE authorized subject to provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation, funding, and an agency determination that a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move is in the Government's best interest. May be required to successfully complete a one or two year trial period. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. May be required to successfully complete a probationary period. U.S. citizenship is required. Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. Must maintain proper security clearance. Security Clearance: at a minimum a National Agency Check is required prior to position assignment.
