Description@@/HD@@ The New Product Introduction Operations Program Manager (NPO) launches products on time, with high quality and maximum customer availability. NPO's are pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Apple's products. A successful NPO is a leader and facilitator; is dynamic, driven, organized and detail oriented; excels in program/ project management; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts. Furthermore, we lead within worldwide Operations and collaborate with the core product development team and other functional organizations within Apple. • Leads Apple and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations team in planning and executing development builds and new product ramps. • Drives Ramp readiness with Engineering, Operations and OEM teams. • Communicates requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams. • Influences product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality • Manages communications, upward and downward through the organization; raising @@HD@@ key issues and options for resolution with executive teams. Responsibilities:@@/HD@@ Establishes strong network with Engineering and Operations teams; leverages network to drive convergence between development schedule, module ramp requirements, and new product launch Drives PRQ readiness with Engineering, Operations and OEM teams, planning build requirements, tracking material availability, and overseeing build execution Influences product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality Manages communications, upward and downward through the organization; raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams @@HD@@ Ability to travel up to 20% Preferred Qualifications@@/HD@@ Strong leader, self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, hands-on and results driven Solid communication skills and ability to build strong relationship to influence cross functional teams Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience @@HD@@ Masters or MBA are considered a plus Minimum Qualifications@@/HD@@ 5+ years of experience in Operations or Supply Chain or Product/Program Management @@HD@@ MS or BS Degree Pay & Benefits@@/HD@@ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,500 and $246,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
