This leader is responsible for the strategic planning, organization, and direction of departmental operations to ensure the efficient and high-quality delivery of patient care. By collaborating closely with medical leadership, the Director develops and implements a unified vision that aligns clinical practice with the medical center's overarching goals. A central focus of this role is fostering a culture of excellence and employee engagement, advocating for high care standards while building unit pride through proactive leadership strategies. Ultimately, the Director serves as a key architect of the clinical environment, ensuring operational effectiveness and a superior patient experience. Experience: • 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience & Periop experience required. Education: • BSN required. • Master's Degree is required. Certification/Licensure: • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. • BLS and specialty certifications per role guidelines.
