About the role

This NURSING (OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH) (ACCELERATED HIRE) is located in Joint Force Headquarters - State and is part of the CA JFHQ Safety. This Vacancy is being advertised concurrently with Technician Vacancy CA-13005063-AR-26-320. Only one of the announced positions will be filled. Recruitment/Relocation Recruitment/Relocation Incentive MAY BE authorized, subject to funding and approval. PCS Relocation Costs MAY BE authorized subject to provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation, funding, and an agency determination that a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move is in the Government's best interest. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. May be required to successfully complete a one or two year trial period. U.S. citizenship is required. Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. Must maintain proper security clearance. Must maintain current certification in Occupational Health from the American Board of Occupational Health Nurses is preferred but not required. Must maintain current license as a Registered Nurse. Must maintain current certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation. Must maintain annual training. May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours; overtime may be required.This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Applicants tentatively selected for appointment to this position will participate in drug urinalysis testing, unless currently occupying a TDP within the Department of Defense. Tentatively selected applicants will be required to sign DA Form 5019 (Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified as Critical Under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program) requiring participation in random drug testing as a condition of employment. Must be able to obtain and maintain credentialing, privileging through the National Guard''s Centralized Credentialing and Privileging Preparation Board. Possess a valid, unrestricted license in the US State, territory, or the District of Columbia to practice medicine, board eligible or board certified to include maintaining continuing medical education (CME) hours.
