Field Service Engineer (UPS)

to join our team in Denmark. @@HD@@ What you'll do:@@/HD@@ As a Field Service Engineer, you will deliver first-class service to Eaton's installed base and ensure maximum customer satisfaction. The primary focus of the role is on UPS systems, covering everything from small single-phase units to large-scale data centre solutions (up to 1200 kVA).

Your key responsibilities will include

• Commissioning, servicing, repairing, and maintaining Eaton UPS systems • Performing preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance • Supporting customers with technical queries via phone, email, and on-site visits • Collaborating with colleagues in Service and Sales by providing technical expertise • Supporting project managers with planning and commissioning schedules • Acting as a mentor for newly hired Field Service Engineers • Maintaining accurate time reporting and technical documentation for all work performed • Proactively participating in planning and scheduling of service activities • Supporting key customers, including high-profile sites, with technical advice • Maintaining close cooperation with internal business units on technical matters • Actively supporting Eaton's Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) culture • Ensuring compliance with Eaton policies, processes, and code of ethics • Participating in all required technical and mandatory training

Qualifications

• Electrical education at upper secondary (Gymnasium) level or equivalent • Minimum

2+ years of experience

in a relevant field (e.g., service technician, industrial electrician) • Strong knowledge of 1-phase and 3-phase electrical systems and UPS systems, battery backup, and emergency power supply

Skills

• Good IT/software skills • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to work independently and within diverse, multicultural teams • Flexible and adaptable approach to work • Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately
