Civil Engineer - Structural - DIRECT HIRE

This position is in the Technical Services Branch of the Central Federal Lands Highway Division and responsible for performing duties related to designing and developing plans, specifications, and estimates for bridges, large culverts, viaducts, and retaining walls on federally owned lands in a multi-state area. Serves as technical support and helps develop, promote, and apply sound planning, inspection, design, construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance practices related to structures. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you may be required to serve a 1-year probationary period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
