Accounts Receivable (Collection) Specialist

, you will join the Revenue Accounting & Collection team, a global financial department supporting our clients worldwide and adhering to international financial reporting standards. You will be an integral member of EPAM's Global Finance department, specifically working within the Business Partnering Services team. Collaborating with over 300 experts, you will play a vital role in expanding the business and driving financial growth. Your responsibilities will include contacting customers and EPAM business partners to arrange timely debt payoffs through various means, such as written correspondence, phone contact, skip-tracing, and initiating process improvements. You will also handle tasks related to account reconciliations, general ledger double entries, and other accounts receivable-related duties. @@HD@@ Responsibilities@@/HD@@ • Collect all outstanding items due on assigned accounts • Communicate with customers and businesses via email or telephone regarding overdue accounts, determining reasons for non-payment, and identifying and analyzing the cause of overdue receivables • Provide responses to issues reported by clients, escalate problems to appropriate departments, and monitor resolutions • Prepare financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status • Respond to customer and business inquiries and take appropriate actions • Keep accurate records in the collection system and report on collection activity, upcoming payments, and accounts receivable status • Process customers' payments (bank postings) and reconcile them with accounts receivable balances (clean-up) • Prepare and record provisions • Maintain vendor forms • Prepare, verify, and control monthly and quarterly reports, including ensuring the integrity of accounting records and completing internal checks • Perform customer credit analysis using customer financial documentation, payment history, account balances, and external data • Achieve monthly cash collection goals • Assist with annual and interim audit requests • Ensure process compliance with corporate policies and regulatory guidelines
