About the role
The Deputy for Programs and Analysis is in the Office of the Secretary (OS), Office of the Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Secretary for Administration (CFO/ASA), Office of Acquisition Management (OAM). OAM coordinates closely with the Department Budget Office, the Chief Information Officer, General Counsel, and Bureaus on acquisition program management and review of all major programs and projects.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national. May be subject to pre-employment and random drug tests. An initial Senior Executive Service (SES) career appointee is subject to a one-year probationary period. Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for federal employment at the time requested by the agency. If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so. File a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report OGE-278e within 30 days of appointment and annually thereafter. You may be required to obtain and maintain an interim and final security clearance prior to entering on duty.
