ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC

This job opportunity is for an ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC, position description D0872P01, within the AASF-1 of the New Jersey Army National Guard. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position. It's purpose is to inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify software controlled automated and manually controlled test stations, Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Areas of Consideration: CAT 3 ALL NJ ARNG MEMBERS All New Jersey Army National Guard members (M-Day, Traditional, Active Guard Reserve, and Drill-Status Guardsmen) Military Grades: E-3 to E-9 Applicant(s) (Enlisted) who are over grade must clearly state, in their resumes, their intentions to willingly take a reduction in grade Additional Employment Requirements: Participation in direct deposit is mandatory May be required to successfully complete a probationary period Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service Title 32 Dual-Status Positions: Compatible Military Assignments Appointments may require the selected candidate to be assigned to a *military unit* compatible with the full-time Military Technician (Dual Status) position. *Military Unit* -- The unit by which the individual is employed as a Military Technician (Dual Status) employee; or a unit that the individual is employed as a Military Technician (Dual Status) employee to support.
