Program Specialist - Research

This position is located in the Research Administration Office of VA Connecticut Healthcare System (VACHS), West Haven campus. The Program Specialist will support one (or more) of the following committees: Institutional Review Board (IRB) for human research protection; Research and Development Committee (RDC); Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), Subcommittee on Research Safety (SRS). Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required. There is some walking, standing, and carrying of light items. Manual dexterity is required to input and extract data through a computer keyboard. No unusual physical demands will be required in order to perform the duties of the position.
