About the role
We are looking for a talented Health, Safety and Environment Leader-Moderate Complexity to join our Health and Safety team of Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems (CDBS) in Fletcher, NC.

To be successful in this role you will need the following

functional partnership
Ability to build strong relationships across functions to ensure clarity of roles, shared accountability, and active employee involvement in HSE programs; bilingual Spanish is a nice - to - have that can enhance communication.

Regulatory and technical expertise
Strong understanding of HSE regulations, compliance obligations, emergency preparedness, and management systems to lead daily operations and support regulatory interactions.

Capability to collect, analyze, and interpret performance data and KPIs to identify risks, evaluate trends, and drive strategic and tactical improvements.
•
Inclusive leadership and communication
Effective coaching, communication, and team-development skills that value diverse perspectives and strengthen HSE culture; bilingual Spanish remains beneficial but not required.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in Occupational Health, Safety or Environmental required. Professional certification in HSE-related field preferred.
Experience
Significant relevant experience required, including management of health, safety and/or environmental ISO Standards required. 5-7 years of experience, 1-2 years management experience.
• Candidates with bilingual Spanish skills are encouraged to apply, as this strengthens communication and employee engagement.
