The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation,   pricing   and promotional signing processes for all   General Merchandise ( GM )   areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food safe experience. The role of an Offsite Warehouse Driver can provide you with the   skills and experience of :   • G uest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest - first culture across the store     • R etail business fundamentals ,   including   department sales trends, inventory management, process   efficiency   and improvement    • E xecuting   daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals      As an Offs i te Warehouse Driver , no two days   are ever the same, but a typical day will   most likely include   the following responsibilities:   • Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments:   • Greet:   • 10ft: be friendly – smile, make eye contact, or wave   • 4ft: greet the guest, smile and   initiate   a warm, helpful interaction   • Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience   • End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you   • Actively support team efforts and   assist   peers in other areas while   maintaining   a positive and respectful attitude   • Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience   • Responsible for the transportation, preparation,   loading   and unloading of   product   to and from offsite in a safe and efficient manner. This includes being compliant with all relevant DOT regulations.    • Complete all required paperwork from vehicle to the offsite such as   Bill of Lading   and   the   driver vehicle inspection report .   • Ensure the vehicle used for transportation to and from the offsite is   maintained   to ensure safe operation and follows designated routes   established   by   S tore   D irector for maximum efficiency .   • Pull   product,   organize and store reserve   product   correctly   to ensure backroom   accuracy   is   maintained .   • Maintain product   availability   on the   salesflo or .   • If certified,   operate   po w ered equipment   to move merchandise   as necessary at the offsite and the store backroom.     • Safely and efficiently   operate   vehicle( s)   while following established routines and policies, including not using an y   mobile devices while driving .   • Understand and   leverage   appropriate escalation   tools to solve process and/or guest issues; notify leader(s) as needed .   • D emonstrate a culture of ethica l conduct,   safety   and compliance .   • Work in a safe manner   at all times ;   comply with   all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.     • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and   Drive   up (DU) and   maintain   a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local   adult beverage   laws .   • All other duties   based   on business needs .

• Must be 21 years of age or older   • Must   possess   a valid driver’s license   • Must   possess   Class 4 Driver’s License (Hawaii only)   • Must   possess   a medical examiner’s certificate   • Must pass required road test (if applicable for your state) conducted by the store   • Understand and follow all traffic signs, directions, and signals   • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and   operate   handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed   • Work both independently and with a team   • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and   accomplish   multiple tasks within established   timeframes     We are an awesome place to work and care about our teams, so we want to make sure we are clear on a few more basics that we expect:     • Climb up and down ladders   • Scan,   handle   and move merchandise efficiently and safely,   including   frequently   lifting or moving merchandise up to 4 4   pounds   without   additional   assistance from others     • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights,   weekends   and holidays); come to work when scheduled,   work scheduled shifts and take required meal   and rest breaks   • Complete all required training, certifications, and documentation provided by Target to ensure internal and federally mandated requirements are met   • Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.   • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)       Find competitive benefits from financial and education to well-being and beyond at  https://corporate.target.com/careers/benefits .
