About the role

Are you our new Business Support Coordinator (Analyst) with Maersk Training in Chennai

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support for training activities by coordinating with global internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed within defined SLAs and KPIs. • Create and maintain Purchase Orders (POs) and Sales Orders (SOs) in the finance system and ensure timely upload of training certificates to client HR systems. • Coordinate with training vendors to track course schedules, completions, and certificate issuance, while liaising with internal teams for course pricing and required approvals. • Perform routine administrative activities, including maintaining accurate records, updating internal systems, preparing reports, and supporting daily, weekly, and monthly operational processes. • Respond to client and internal team queries, provide regular status updates, and assist in resolving day-to-day operational and administrative issues. • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors through proactive communication and reliable administrative support.

Key aspects of the role

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely coordination of training-related activities, system updates, and information flow. • Manage key administrative processes, including generating purchase orders, handling email correspondence, and overseeing the upload and follow-up of training certificates in relevant systems. • Cultivate trusted partnerships with stakeholders and vendors by ensuring timely support, clear communication, and a solution-oriented approach to operational challenges.

We are looking for

• 2-3 years of experience in client-facing or coordination roles • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or related field • Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications; (Any automation skillset is a plus) • Coordinate and participate in global calls to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills • Quick learner, adaptable to internal systems and tools • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Effective time management; able to meet tight deadlines • Good interpersonal skills and stakeholder management abilities • Proactive, dependable, and a collaborative team player • Fluent in English (written and spoken) Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
