About the role

Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Civil Engineer. We expect to fill many vacancies at this time. Duty Location: OKLAHOMA CITY,OKLAHOMA, PIERRE,SOUTH DAKOTA, BISMARCK,NORTH DAKOTA, LOVELAND,COLORADO, BILLINGS,MONTANA, RAPID CITY,SOUTH DAKOTA, AUSTIN,TEXAS Pay will vary based on grade level and/or duty location for which you're selected. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate. Must be a U.S. Citizen or National. Suitability for employment, as determined by background investigation. Driver's License: This position requires the incumbent to operate a government (or private) motor vehicle as part of their official duties. Selectee must hold and maintain a valid state driver's license throughout their employment in this position. A condition of employment for accepting this position, you will be required to serve a [1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period] during which your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest will be evaluated. Individuals assigned male at birth after 12-31-59 must be registered for the Selective Service. To verify registration visit SSS.gov. Direct Deposit participation required. Must have a current Professional Engineer license. (GS-12 Only) You will be required to obtain a successful pre-employment physical examination by a licensed physician certifying your ability to perform the duties of this position. A physical exam may not be required if a comparable agency approved examination was performed within the last 12 months. The cost of the exam will be covered by the agency. (Location this applies to: Billings, MT; Loveland, CO) You cannot hold an active real estate license, nor can you have an interest or hold stocks in firms with interest in Federal Lands. If selected for this position, you will be required to annually complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450 within 30 days of reporting for duty. (Location this applies to: The Rural Water group (DK-2000) located in Rapid City, SD; Pierre, SD; Bismarck, ND. Does not apply to the Facilities & Engineering group (DK-4000) in Rapid City, SD)
