We want to hear from you! @@HD@@ Description@@/HD@@ This is a unique hardware design position that starts at product concept designing the development platforms for future iPhone generations, following through HW build and bringup. You will lay the foundation for iPhone product development with a critical impact on overall design. Lead designs that continually push the boundaries of technology and ultimately improve the iPhone user experience. @@HD@@ Preferred Qualifications@@/HD@@ Strong desire to dive deep into system level issues and drive problems to closure in a team-based environment with a proactive attitude Proven track record of leading dynamic multi-functional teams Ability to analyze solutions and make system design trade-offs Familiarity with the challenges of taking a product from early architecture through to production Hands on experience with lab test equipment to debug difficult/intermittent hardware issues Schematic capture and PCB layout Fundamentals of Signal and Power Integrity Low voltage power regulation and delivery Prototype design and validation with custom silicon Use of scripting languages to assist with hw development Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills @@HD@@ MS Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent Minimum Qualifications@@/HD@@ BS Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent 5+ years industry experience Electrical engineering fundamentals including analog and high speed digital design Broad experience across different applications and technologies @@HD@@ Design of complex system architectures Pay & Benefits@@/HD@@ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
