About the Job The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) acts as a technical ambassador and hands-on AI architect embedded directly in high-stakes enterprise customer implementations.  Your Impact  As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with Sales, Customer Operations, Product R&D, and enterprise clients to: • Design, construct, and fine-tune retrieval-augmented generation systems, vector database setups, and API connections between multiple systems. • Write high-quality custom integration code, data connectors, and fast workaround scripts to keep major client rollouts moving on schedule. • Collaborate with the central Product R&D team to transform your custom field fixes and integration patterns into standard product features—preventing hidden backlogs and technical debt. • Track custom modification, architectural design, and software layer in Jira to ensure full visibility and accountability. • Ensure every implementation meets high standards for security, scalability, system monitoring (observability), and reliability under heavy usage. • Independently diagnose and fix complex production bugs, API failures, AI model execution errors, and data pipeline drops in active enterprise environments. • Bring real-world client usage patterns and urgency to product roadmap discussions, R&D sprint planning, and feature prioritization. • Conduct architecture reviews, run pair-programming sessions, and document reusable deployment guides and integration playbooks for the internal team. What You Bring to the Table • 5–8 years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or forward deployed engineering (ideally within a SaaS or tech company). • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field. • Advanced full-stack development skills, strong system design capabilities, API architecture expertise, and clear written and spoken communication. • Practical experience with Vector Databases, LLM frameworks, RAG architectures, cloud infrastructure, and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
