About the role

Operates farm-type tractors and towed or attached equipment to maintain grounds, mow landscaped areas and median, plow snow, grading fire roads, grading parking lots, cleaning beaches and fire pits. These positions may be filled for a seasonal period, up to 1560 hours, but can vary due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: November 2026. Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. Direct Deposit participation required. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license throughout employment. You may be required to wear a uniform and comply with the uniform standards. A uniform allowance will be provided. You may be required to work on-call, evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime and/or shift work. You may be required to travel overnight away from home occasionally. You may be required to complete training and operate a four-wheel drive vehicle. Some positions may require tractor and trailer operation and experience. You are required to complete training, obtain and maintain a government credit card with travel and purchase authority. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
