• Procurement & Order Lifecycle Management

Own the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle for critical transformer components (Bushings, OLTCs, Fabricated Tanks, and Insulation). Manage PO execution, schedule adjustments, and logistics, ensuring 100% on-time production fulfillment. •

Supplier Performance & Development

Manage and monitor supplier relationships to ensure 100% on-time delivery. Proactively assess supplier capacity, conduct performance reviews, and implement corrective action plans for underperforming vendors. Implement best-buying practices and drive reporting to ensure promise-date accuracy and overall supplier accountability. •

Inventory & Data Optimization

Utilize ERP (SAP) and Material Optimization Suites (MOS) to manage replenishment models, mitigate inventory obsolescence, and maintain optimal stock levels. Provide accurate reporting on inventory turns and material availability. Maintain rigorous control over raw materials, GIT/SIT inventory, and obsolescence. •

Continuous Improvement

Proactively identify and propose enhancements to existing buying methods, procurement procedures, and digital tools. Lead the implementation of lean initiatives such as VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) and PFEP (Plan For Every Part). •

Complex Risk Mitigation

Act as the primary point of contact for supply chain bottlenecks. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, Engineering) to resolve disruptions and implement sustainable solutions for production continuity. •

Compliance & Ethical Sourcing

Ensure all procurement activities strictly adhere to global trade regulations, company sourcing policies, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards. •

Capacity & Growth Planning

Analyze long-term demand signals to work with suppliers on capacity planning, ensuring that material supply scales effectively with business growth and new program rollouts. @@HD@@ Required Qualifications and Experience @@/HD@@ • Bachelor's degree in Engineering ,Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management. APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM or CSCP) are highly preferred • Minimum 12-15+ years of experience in the relevant procurement of transformer components (Bushings, OLTCs, Steel/Fabricated tanks, and Insulation) @@HD@@ Desired Characteristics @@/HD@@ • Strong oral and written communication skills in English. • Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Kanban, Just-in-Time (JIT) methodologies, and safety regulations. • Travel as and when need to support project needs @@HD@@ Additional Information@@/HD@@ @@HD@@ Relocation Assistance Provided: @@/HD@@ Yes
