Procurement Specialist

Accountable for obtaining goods/services required by the organization including: Indirect Operations (e.g., Office Supplies, Computers, Travel, Maintenance, Machine Parts, etc.). Direct Operations (e.g., Raw Materials and Services for Manufacturing, Production or Construction; Products for Retail, etc.) Procurement processes include: Product/Service Sourcing. Supplier Selection. Pricing/Terms Negotiation. Order Processing. Contract Administration. Supplier Performance Management. May include Strategic Sourcing An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices. @@HD@@ How you'll make an impact@@/HD@@ • Executing & maintaining Lean Manufacturing. • Knowledge on Six Sigma, 5S, DMAIC etc. • Experience in Planning the work schedule & Managing the Shift & getting desired output by the team. • Assign duties to Employees, Trainees and oversee their progress. • Ensure that daily production goals are met. • Creating production process reports. • Identify issues & efficiency and suggest improvements • Train and integrate new workers. • Full understanding of industry safety standards • Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. • Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

• Candidate should have B.E - Electrical / Mechanical with 5+ years of Experience in relevant field • Technical Qualification - Diploma / Engineering • Handling the Trainees & getting work done • Understanding of industry safety standards • Gemba board & chart; shift wise production data; safety incident reports in intelex • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required Apply now Current employees apply here
