About the Role

UX Writers closely collaborate with product designers, product managers, and product marketing to make our customer experiences easy and delightful to use. You’ll work with writers across the company to influence and codify standards and documentation for UX writing. You’ll champion our users, who range from seasoned developers and first-time founders with varying levels of technical expertise to small businesses and leading enterprises. Your goal is to help them confidently grow their businesses with Stripe.

What You'll Do

• Work with a cross functional tech team to craft the words that guide our product experiences • Create content strategy for UX including flows, interactions, messaging, and microcopy. • Simplify complex product concepts into easy-to-understand language and guidance • Establish and maintain a consistent set of language guidelines across our entire ecosystem from software to hardware • Write using best practices for inclusivity and accessibility that address a diverse set of users • Propose, devise, and implement microcopy experiments to learn what works and what does not • Master our brand tone and voice and translate it into every aspect of the product.

What We're Looking For

• Have 5+ years of experience working as a UX writer or content strategist • Solid understanding and experience with complex enterprise and SASS products • Strong user focus • Great communication skills, written and verbal, with a diverse group of stakeholders • Attention to detail with borderline obsessive organizational skills • Can edit existing work or create new copy with input from stakeholders • Comfort with context switching between multiple product areas and touchpoints • Can embrace a fast-paced, iterative work environment • Can integrate new design tools into your workflow Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of KeepTruckin's core values.
