Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to

• Provide strategic guidance and hands on assistance for Operating Units to manage through complex global labor relations issues, for contract negotiations, for pro-active employee relations and organizing campaigns, with a focus on Argentina. • Provide expert: advocacy in labor arbitrations and with government agencies (legal research, counsel, company lead advocate) labor relations consultation and counsel to operating units. • Supports the execution of global labor relations philosophy and partners with the business stake holders on the determined strategy and philosophy. • Enhance organization’s labor relations competence through development and facilitation of labor relations training and mentorship. • Act as guidance review or project team member to various compensation, disability management, and other HR project teams. • Participant in external labor relations forums to enhance learning and corporate wide information and best practice sharing across the organization, monitor labor relations trends, developments and cases. • May be required up to 40% of domestic travel.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Labor Relations or Labor Law • Advanced English • University degree

Preferred Qualifications

• University degree in Law or Labor Relations • Experience in Labor relations (LR) and negotiating experience, preferably at a leadership level locally or national bargaining event(s). • Global LR experience. • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, based on trust and respect, at every level of the organization Demonstrated experience in dealing with diverse work groups, resolution of difficult and sensitive issues or disputes, employee and supervisor counseling • Project management expertise, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ability to perform complex legal research, data analysis, detailed briefs, position statements, prepare communications to leaders, experience providing expert LR counsel in policy, contract administration, D&A, grievance process, discipline, first chair experience in collective bargaining and organizing campaigns.
