Mechanical Design Engineer

• You will do meeting with clients and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements. • You will be planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD tools, like CREO, performing computer simulations, experimenting to virtually test and refine the designs. • You will be overseeing the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing, documenting the design process, iteration, and test analytics. • You will manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, keep abreast of the latest advancements in technology, design trends, and engineering best practices. • You will run design for excellence practices (DFA, DFM, FMEA, etc.), prepare reports and related documents in accordance with internal and external requirements. • You will support the design, manufacturing, quality and supply chain organizations with technical expertise to ensure that technical requirements are fulfilled. • Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
