Job Description

Equinox seeks a

Rock Wall Pro

for our state-of-the-art

Sports Club NYC

location. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: • Oversee the rockwall areas; ensure that all equipment is used safely. • Assist members with climbing gear, instruction, and belaying. • Maintain a clean rockwall area. • Examine rockwall equipment prior to use; store properly at the end of shift. • Enforce all member and employee policies, rules and regulations. • Adhere to safety practices and policies. • Respond to members' concerns, suggestions and complaints in a timely, professional manner. • Offer the highest level of member and employee service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in rock climbing, including belaying. • High School graduate or equivalent. • First Aid training. • Strong desire to work in Fitness industry. • Must be able to work weekends. • Ability to speak conversational English is required. • Must be available and able to work at both sites Equinox E61st (330 E 61st) and Sports Club NY (160 Columbus Ave, 67st) •
