Working under the supervision of a qualified Cummins Technician, you will learn everything that comes with the diagnosis and repair of Cummins engines and products.

What's in it for you?

• Earn while you learn, we pay above award rates. • Mechanical starter toolkit provided upon commencement. • Obtain a nationally recognized Certificate III trade qualification. • Complete off-the-job TAFE/Registered Training Organization study. • Receive structured on-the-job training, under the supervision of our Regional Capability Trainers, as well as the qualified technicians and supervisors in your workshop. • Gain your experience working on a range of our world class Cummins engine products. • Improve your technical expertise by completing a range of engine product training with Cummins Technical Trainers as you progress through your apprenticeship.

Cummins are looking for applicants with the following attributes

• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn. • A passion for working on our products and in the industry. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. • Excellent level of language, literacy, and numeracy skills • A willingness to work across regional areas and rotate through different departments to gain experience on automotive, industrial, marine, and mining engine products as you progress through your apprenticeship. • Right to work in Australia • Preference to have completed year 12 or equivalent. • A strong focus on safety and wellbeing that will lead to a successful career at Cummins. • Willingness to embrace diversity and make Cummins a great place to work.
