Investigator

This position is in the FEMA Office of Professional Responsibility. The function of the Office of Professional Responsibility is to conduct expeditious, fair and objective investigations into allegations of employee misconduct and harassment. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, analytical thinker with strong oral and written communication skills, experience conducting administrative investigations, labor employee relations, strategic planning, and detailed report writing. To ensure the accomplishment of our mission, DHS requires every employee to be reliable and trustworthy. To meet those standards, all selected applicants must undergo, successfully pass, and maintain a background investigation for Moderate Risk/ Public Trust as a condition of placement into this position.
