FIREFIGHTER (HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TECH-BASIC LIFE SUPPORT) (Title 5)

This position is part of the 147 ATKW at Ellington AFB, Houston, TX. The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a Firefighter (Hazardous Materials Technician Basic Life Support) assigned to a crew engaged in airfield and structural firefighting and crash rescue operations. Drives and operates firefighting vehicles of significant complexity to respond to the presence or potential releases of hazardous materials (HAZMAT). Texas is one of 9 states with NO state income tax. Appointment Factor(s): This is a Title 5 Excepted Service position.
