In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways

• Apply documented procedures and policies to perform diagnostics and complex repairs. • Perform preventative maintenance based on assessment of engine. • Complete required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten or business system input screens. • Complete training in line with skill and business requirements. • Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation. • Adhere to and ensures adherence of more junior technicians to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor. • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor.

Diploma, Certification, license

Red seal 310T certification is required for this role.

• Locally valid driving permit • Clean driver's abstract • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

• Good customer relation skills. • Diagnostic, electrical, chassis, and heavy-duty engine experience is an asset. • Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics. • Familiarity with OEM diagnostic software (e.g., INSITE). • Flexibility to attend service calls or support other locations as needed. • Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Education, Licenses, Certifications

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permit (Preferred) This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products -This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations and must meet the conditions of the company policy.
