About the role
Responsible for performing various tasks in the manufacturing process to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely, adhering to Hitachi's standards and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
Assemble, inspect, and package products ensuring quality standards are met.
Conduct in-process quality checks and report any deviations or defects.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following 5S principles.
Load and unload materials and products, potentially using material handling equipment.
Read and interpret production orders, blueprints, and work instructions.
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate complex problems to supervisors or maintenance.
Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
Record production data and complete necessary documentation accurately.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 35 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
Basic computer skills for data entry and machine operation are a plus.
Demonstrated commitment to safety.
