What you'll do
Structural design LV switchgear or optimize existing products according to client's requirement.Be familiar with low-voltage component products like ACB,MCCB... Drives the whole process from design to install phase. Make sure the COE design to be conformance to needs& requirements of the local market. Advising on feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering solutions by other team members.
• Be familiar with using 3D software, such as Inventor or Solidworks, and Autocad.
• Be familiar with LV assembly products, 5 years or above engineering design experience
• Familiar with UL and IEC low-voltage switchgear assemblies, relevant standards, and testing procedures.
• Have capability to develop new LV assembly products.design non-standard LV assembly by himself.
• Have capability to design non-standard LV assembly by himself.
• Develop, maintain, support design process and focus on concept design, piece part drawings, assembly drawings and Bill of material creation.
• Redesign existing products to reduce cost, find local sourcing for cost reduction.
• Candidates with experience in the design of low-voltage switchgear assemblies for data centers, computing (AI) centers, or similar applications are preferred.
• Candidates with overseas experience in the design and project management of low-voltage switchgear assemblies are preferred.
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree or above, B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Electical Sciences or its recognized equivalent in education and experience.
• Requires a minimum of 5 years experience as an LV assembly/components engineer or equivalent
