Supervisory Veterans Service Representative (Assistant Coach)

This position serves as a first-level supervisor for one or more of the teams within the Veterans Service Center (VSC). The number and makeup of teams may vary from Regional Office to Regional Office and from individual VSC to individual VSC, based on workload and the experience levels of VSC staff. The incumbent may be called upon to serve as a supervisor for any of the teams existing at their local VSC. As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you may be required to serve a 1-year probationary period or trial period during which we will evaluate your fitness & whether your continued employment advances the public interest. In determining if your employment advances the public interest, we may consider: Your performance and conduct; The needs and interests of the agency; Whether your continued employment would advance organizational goals of the agency or the Government; and Whether your continued employment would advance the efficiency of the Federal service.
