Job Summary

This position provides support to operations by allocating resources to audit the process or products. This position will ensure the plant's compliance with process or product specifications. The quality engineer will also interact with customers to address and solve quality issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Define, specify, and implement quality standards and procedures for manufacturing processes. • Assure that product shipped meets internal and external customer requirements. • Develop and implement corrective actions. • Prepare corrective action responses necessary. • Host Source inspectors and/or Customer Auditors as needed. • Provide technical support to both internal and external customers and suppliers as needed. • Formulate and implement quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards. • Lead Quality Inspectors, training and development. • Internal PPAP preparation and process approvals. @@HD@@• Lead and take part of the Material Review Board. 1. Education level required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, from an accredited institution.

2. Years and area of experience required

Minimum of 4 years in Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.

3. Technical knowledge

• Ability to read and understand blue prints / technical drawings, specifications, and requirements including GD&T. • Wide experience in use of measuring tools and equipment. (Caliper, Micrometer, Optical Comparator etc) • Experience using PC configured with MS Windows OS. Familiarity with MS Office software is desired • Wide experience in Metal-Mechanical Industry, stamping, die cut and sheet metal processes, including experience with transfer, progresive and simple dies,and peripheral components like matrixes, guides, inserts, punches and stripper plates. • Wide understanding of press process parameters (pressure, lubrication, speed etc), and defects detection: (burrs, cracking, wrinkling, distortion, tool marks, flow marks) • Experience in performing Quality audits. • Technical proficiency in Core Tools Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), MSA, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) models and Control Plans. • CTQs (Critical to Quality) and CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) implementation experience. • English Fluent Bussiness Conversational. • VISA
